What are the Mud Palms?

Mud Palms are plates that bolt onto the crown of the anchor and come standard with every Fortress and Guardian anchor. Their purpose is to help the anchor set more quickly in all types of seabeds. By adding “lift” to the crown, the Mud Palms angle the flukes directly toward the bottom, allowing the anchor to dig in faster and more reliably. For best performance, we recommend installing the Mud Palms and keeping them on your anchor at all times.

Can I order the Mud Palms if I don't have them?

Yes, they are available for nominal cost. We will need to know the anchor model number, the color of the paint on the engraving on the shank and your address.
